At Westbrook beach on the north coast of Durban the warm water is perfect for swimming and you may even see dolphins or whales during your visit as they are regular visitors to these waters. Westbrook beach is in the process of attaining a Blue Flag Status. (Blue Flag Beaches are clean, safe and environmentally friendly). Lifeguards are on duty and the beach is guarded by shark nets. This is a terrific spot for fishing. There are also convenient retail centres nearby.
